Zero Tolerance Policy against Ragging


Our College strictly prohibits ragging in any form within the campus and outside the campus. Ragging is a punishable offence under the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

The institution follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards ragging and is committed to providing a safe, secure, and healthy academic environment for all students.

What is Ragging?


Ragging includes any act that:-

  • • Causes physical or psychological harm or fear.
  • • Teases, abuses, threaten, or humiliate a student.
  • • Forces a student to perform any act against his/her will.
  • • Creates an environment of intimidation or harassment.

Ragging in any form is strictly banned on campus.

Anti-Ragging Committee

The College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee comprising:

The Committee monitors the campus regularly and ensures compliance with UGC norms.

Punishment for Ragging

Any student found guilty of ragging shall be liable for:

  • • Suspension from classes
  • • Expulsion from the institution
  • • Cancellation of admission
  • • Withholding of scholarships/fellowships
  • • Filing of FIR as per law

Punishment will be imposed as per UGC regulations and applicable legal provisions.

How to Report Ragging

Students can report incidents of ragging through:

  • • Direct complaint to the Principal
  • • Written complaint to the Anti-Ragging Cell
  • • Email to the official college email ID
  • • Complaint in the suggestion/complaint box

All complaints will be treated confidentially.

Mandatory Undertaking

As per UGC regulations, all students and parents are required to submit an online Anti-Ragging Undertaking at the time of admission.
